Earlier this week, I found myself in that situation, and per normal it happens on a day where I have a ton to do, and not much time to venture out for food.

I spent a few minutes while working trying to decide where to go, so that I could get in and out quickly and that was close to work.

I decided to go to a place that is a reliable option for many of us in Central Minnesota, Kwik Trip.  There’s a location a little more than a mile away, and there’s lots of options normally available to grab and go, which was perfect for me.

I’ve had their pizza and a few of the sandwiches from there and have never been disappointed. When I went through the door, I felt strongly that I would find something to hit the spot.

And boy did I ever. I had never seen Chicken Pot Pies before at Kwik Trip and I was immediately drawn to it. It was a big pie to start with which caught my attention.

The price was around $6, and that caught my attention too.

Once I got the pot pie back to work, I was surprised at flaky the crust was and how good it tasted. The mix of chicken and vegetables on the inside was not only delicious but filling as well.

If you are a frequent visitor of Kwik Trip, or you just like pot pies, I recommend you give the Chicken Pot Pie from Kwik Trip a try if you come across one. I don’t think you’ll be disappointed.
