Free Event Saturday Will Be Filled with Fun for Minnesota Kids
To borrow a term from NASCAR, we’re entering “Turn 4” of the summer, meaning we’re in the last stages of the warmer weather with kids being out of school and our desire to be outside.
It won’t be long until parents have to make sure their kids are getting their homework done and are prepared for the upcoming day or week at school.
But before that happens, some families are trying to fit in as much as they can with their kids before school starts and life starts getting in the way of activities you’d like to do.
This Saturday is one such event that is perfect for families and it’s FREE! That word always gets my attention.
The Minnesota Children's Museum in St. Paul is holding their annual block party Saturday from 10am-2pm. The event is of course appealing to children but is open to everyone.
The folks at the museum have a whole list of activities planned which include but are not limited to two giant blow up slides and a DJ spinning tunes offering a soundtrack for the excitement of the day.
The activities planned have the whole family in mind, so despite the ages of your kids, this would be a great opportunity to spend some quality time with them and make some special summer memories.
The block party does not include admission to the museum, which will be open during the party that is going on outside. Tickets are $19 each but if you order online, you can get them for $16.
If you’re looking for an opportunity for family time this weekend, this is it. And who knows, maybe the kids will wear themselves out and it’ll be a quite night around the house for you on Saturday.
