But there are those who would like to plan something bigger, with their entire family, or maybe their closest friends who they don’t get to spend nearly enough time with. 

When it comes to getting the “gang” all together, finding a place that is big enough that meets the needs of a group that size can be a bit of a challenge.  

There’s a house coming available on VRBO this summer here in Minnesota that checks a lot of those boxes.  

The Lodge on Steamboat Bay is on Leech Lake in Walker Minnesota. This house is in the final stages of being completed, so you and your crew could be one of the first to stay in this lake front vacation home. 

This house sleeps 24+ and is friendly to your pets. And it may be perfect for your needs. This home features 5 bedrooms, and 4 of the suites have their own private bath. 

There are six full bathrooms in this one, so having to stand in line in a larger group isn’t likely. The bedrooms all have a theme, such as the master bedroom where it’s a forest theme. 

Bedroom #2 has a fish themed room and offers 3 bunk beds (twin over a full) and is right next to a bathroom. The other themes for the bedrooms have displays of bears, moose, and deer. 

You’ll also find a bunkhouse on this property too. 

To make cooking and cleaning easier, use the double oven, and gas stove and two dishwashers. Plus, all the accessories and spices you might need can be found here too. 

In addition to lots of places to sleep, there’s a rec room that is a perfect place to hang out. This room will be popular because it features a pool table, arcade games, a poker table, a tv with sitting area, a bar with a garage sized refrigerator and an ice machine. This cool space is attached to the house and there’s a bathroom that can be accessed from the rec room or from outside. 

Speaking of outside, this property features a lot there as well. A big, flat area for the kids and pets to run and play, or for group games. There’s a landscaped walkway to the sandy beach area and the lake. If you want to hit the water, there’s a pontoon boat available to rent.  

The yard also features a sunk-in fire pit with a nice seating area.  

You’ll also find a covered patio with a fire table, and there are multiple grills and options for tables for your outdoor experiences.  

As I mentioned earlier, this property isn’t quite completed yet, but will be available on VRBO starting in June.
