Popular Brand Of Window Blinds Recall Of Hazard For Kids
If you’ve bought blinds online from Amazon, you need to check and see if it’s the brand that has been recalled. The company is Persilux and their brand of Zebra blinds have been recalled by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission.

The issue at hand with these blinds is that the cord for adjusting the blinds is so long, that it is a potential strangulation hazard for children. The length of the cord on these blinds is in violation of the federal law for wall coverings and the CPSC says that the risk here is substantial.
Fortunately, there have not been any injuries reported from the over 130,000 of these blinds sold between June 2023 and June of 2025. The recall was handed down on September 25th.
The cost of these blinds was between $40 and $124 and at that price point it’s no wonder as many of them sold as they did. These blinds were sold in black, beige, white, light gray, and dark gray.
The lengths range 22 to 73 inches wide and 64 to 72 inches high. Persilux and Zebra Blinds will be printed on the packaging and the model number of the blinds in question is X00FFPT63.
If you own these blinds, you are urged to contact Persilux for a free repair kit. The kit contains instructions on how to make the repair and has the necessary parts. Owners will need to remove the blind and then cut and remove the operating cord. Then take a picture of the blind without the cord and email that picture to recall@persiluxhome.com.
