Ain’t it funny how things leave you when you don’t use them on a regular basis?

Math seems to be one of those courses that parents seem to struggle with the most. If that’s you, and your child needs some extra support, encouragement, and help connecting all the mathematical dots, there is help available.

Cady Shaw, who has a bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Global and has been substitute teacher in several school districts this year, is offering tutoring for students in 3rd through 12th grade.

Cady says she can help with the basics like elementary and secondary math. But she can also offer tutoring for advanced courses as well.

If you’re student is struggling with Algebra, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus, and Trigonometry. You know, those subjects most of us have long forgotten how to do.

Cady charges $20 per hour, and can work with your child at your home, or at a local library or community center. For the remainder of the school year, Cady says she is available after 3:30 Monday-Friday's.
